Why join Birmingham Writers' Group?

Birmingham Writers' Group is a collection of committed writers who aim to support each other in developing their creative skills to become published authors.

The benefits of joining Birmingham Writers' Group are:

· Birmingham Writers' Group provide a programme of planned, themed meetings throughout the year (excluding August). See the sample programme in the Programme section of the site for more information.

· At Birmingham Writers' Group meetings you will have the opportunity to read your work in progress and to develop your critical skills.

· Birmingham Writers' Group organises creative writing Competitions every year.

· Birmingham Writers' Group organises creative writing Workshops with professional writers.

· Birmingham Writers' Group disseminates information to members about creative writing competitions and publishing opportunities.

The first two visits are £1 each, but writers who are accepted by the committee as members pay an annual membership fee.
